Forks in the Road

Lately many doors have been opening wide to me. Doors going in seemingly different directions. All inviting me go through them and commit to focus on a particular cause and effort for The Lord. It's funny because for months I have been seeking The Lord's will for my next season and the doors were not opening. Yet. Here I am at a fork in the road. And God is saying, just rest and abide and wait. He's saying not to choose the door just yet. He's saying He just wants me to lay on the floor before the junction of opportunities and just be. I want to know now, so I can tell the world what I'm doing next. So I can raise support and have a cause to promote. But God says wait. He says Trust Me. He says He will fulfill the desires of my heart, to simply rest in Him.

We are not identified by what we do for Him; we are identified by who are are in Him. And I know I can rest knowing I am the beloved daughter of The King.

And that is enough.

Stained glass windows in Nelson

The most southern tip of New Zealand, closest to Antarctica. And I was there!
